Mark Baldwin
My
current condition is 5' 11", 189 pounds (see photos below).
My best condition achieved has been 178 pounds and under 6% bodyfat,
measured with skin calipers.
My training program in the recent past has been a 2 times
per week, full body 'maintenance' routine. I did not train to
muscular failure or push myself to increase reps. Rather, I took
it easy to sustain motivation. I recently began a more demanding
split routine: Day 1 quads, chest, triceps; Day 2 hamstrings,
back, biceps; Day 3 shoulders, calves, abdominals. I rest 2-3
days between training days and walk one hour on my off days.
I am also now emphasizing leg, chest, and triceps development.
I did not bother watching calories too carefully, nor did
I eliminate all estrogenic substances. My supplements include
GROW! protein powder, ZMA (a zinc/magnesium supplement I started
just before taking the photos below), a multi-vitamin/liquid
minerals, and glutamine. I have also began taking MD6 while watching
my daily caloric intake carefully... but allowing one night of
free eating per week. I eliminated creatine since I did not like
the side-effects, being flu-like symptoms almost every day during
consumption.
My goal is to lean up over eight weeks and reach 180-183
pounds while achieving a much fuller look to my muscles, and
particularly my quads.
